Marketing Analytics & Tracking Specialist

About the Role
Looking for an experienced Marketing Analytics & Tracking Specialist to own the measurement,
attribution, analytics, reporting, and web operations support behind our paid media programs.
This is not a traditional reporting or tracking implementation role. Our media buyers own strategy, execution,
optimization, and client performance. You ensure they have reliable measurement, functioning conversion journeys,
and proactive analytical insights to make better decisions.
You will work across Meta, Google Ads, GA4, GTM, Shopify, Salesforce, HubSpot, Triple Whale, Northbeam, APIs,
webhooks, CAPI, offline conversions, and client reporting environments.
What You’ll Own
Measurement & Tracking
● Implement, QA, and troubleshoot tracking across advertising platforms, analytics tools, ecommerce systems,
and CRMs.
● Configure and maintain pixels, Conversions API, enhanced conversions, and offline conversion events.
● Design event taxonomies, conversion hierarchies, and measurement specifications.
● Build and troubleshoot CRM, API, webhook, and lead-routing integrations.
● Investigate data discrepancies and validate conversion values, parameters, transaction IDs, and deduplication.
● Establish scalable monitoring, documentation, and tracking QA standards.
Web Operations & Conversion Funnel Integrity
● Monitor landing pages, forms, checkout flows, redirects, and critical conversion paths.
● Perform pre-launch and post-launch QA of website changes and conversion journeys.
● Identify page-speed, mobile usability, and technical issues affecting conversion performance.
● Test customer journeys from ad click through CRM, lead qualification, or purchase.
● Diagnose website-side conversion issues and coordinate fixes with Engineering and developers.
● Support incident escalation, release tracking, funnel analysis, and experiment validation.
Analytics & Attribution
● Proactively identify performance trends, anomalies, risks, and growth opportunities.
● Evaluate results across ad platforms, GA4, attribution tools, CRMs, and first-party business data.
● Connect media performance to qualified leads, sales, revenue, new customers, and acquisition costs.
● Investigate differences between platform reporting and actual business outcomes.
● Translate findings into clear, actionable insights for Media, Account Management, and leadership.
Dashboards & Reporting
● Manage client dashboards, data connections, and reporting infrastructure.
● Define appropriate KPIs and validate dashboard accuracy against source systems.
● Resolve reporting discrepancies and maintain ongoing QA.
● Improve reporting consistency, scalability, and decision usefulness.
Working Across Teams
Data owns measurement integrity, analytical investigation, reporting reliability, and website-side diagnosis. Media
Buyers own media strategy, optimization, execution, and performance. Engineering owns code-level implementation
and remediation.
You will partner with Media Buyers, Account Managers, Engineering, clients, and leadership to surface risks, validate
changes, and explain technical and analytical findings in business terms.
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience
● 5+ years in digital marketing analytics, tracking, measurement, marketing technology, or a related field.
● Advanced GTM and GA4 experience; strong Meta Pixel, CAPI, and Google Ads conversion tracking skills.
● Experience with ecommerce platforms, CRMs, APIs, webhooks, and automation workflows.
● Experience with attribution platforms such as Triple Whale, Northbeam, or Rockerbox.
● Strong knowledge of event parameters, UTMs, deduplication, conversion values, and server-side tracking.
● Experience testing landing pages, forms, checkout journeys, and website conversion flows.
● Ability to diagnose cross-system discrepancies and coordinate technical resolution.
● Strong analytical judgment and clear communication with technical and nontechnical teams.
Strongly Preferred
● Agency experience supporting multiple ecommerce and lead-generation clients.
● Experience with Google Search Console, Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights, and Core Web Vitals.
● Experience with website release QA, incident triage, and CRO experiment measurement.
● Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, JSON, and data-layer implementations.
● Experience with automated monitoring, first-party measurement, privacy, and consent management.
● Experience feeding qualified leads, sales, and revenue outcomes back to ad platforms.

How You Think Matters
You investigate discrepancies rather than simply reporting them. You challenge incomplete attribution, identify what
changed, and distinguish measurement issues from media, website, funnel, or business issues. You anticipate
problems and communicate what matters without waiting to be asked.

What Success Looks Like
● Media Buyers and Account Managers trust the data and receive proactive, actionable insights.
● Tracking and website conversion issues are identified before they become significant client problems.
● New clients launch with validated measurement and functioning conversion journeys.
● Dashboards and conversion signals accurately reflect business outcomes.
● Website changes are tested, technical issues are escalated, and fixes are validated.
● Recurring problems are addressed at the root cause, with clear ownership across Data, Media, and
Engineering.
