At manscaped we are on a mission. To own the entire landscape of male grooming, starting with what makes a man a man -- the groin. Through design and storytelling the creative team is the driving force behind the Manscaped brand.
Manscaped is looking for an advertising copywriter who knows how to have fun.
What you’ll do
You will be both a big picture thinker and a nimble daily executioner. You will work with the creative team to develop 360 integrated campaigns for product rollouts and brand initiatives on an ongoing basis. And on a daily basis, you will crank out ideas and concepts for every platform, from TV to Tik Tok.
You will report to the VP of Content, but you will work broadly across the Creative Team, including collaborating with content producers and editors as a project goes from concept to post production.
What you’ll bring
The ideal candidate has a portfolio of ads that shows off your voice and demonstrates a point of view. You're a master of comedic tone, commanding the spectrum from irreverent to absurd to ironic. You’ve got the range to turn it up to 11, and then turn it back down. Your dialogue sparkles. You’re a master of mediums, and your concepts translate well from OOH to :15s to longer form social media videos.
The ideal candidate has an ad agency background. You understand, conceptually, what makes a good ad. And, you understand on a transactional level what makes a good ad work. You know the full funnel, from awareness to conversion.
The ideal candidate has worked with a DTC company, either in-house or as a client on the agency side. You understand the world of iterating, testing and optimization. You’re familiar with terms like CTA, CAC and LTV.
