Chief Operations Officer (COO)

Our client is growing and looking to hire a visionary COO to oversee company
operational processes, financial health, and ensure excellent customer experience. The COO will
optimize operating capabilities, assist in compiling the company’s budget, and employ
strategies for employee and client retention. You will compile financial reports, control financial
policies and procedures and team up with management to implement business strategies.
To ensure success, you should have a clear understanding and agreement with our company’s
core values and culture. Ideal candidates will be exemplary leaders, have excellent business
acumen, and have a sound understanding of business strategies.

• Serves as a member of the executive management team, leading by example every day,
knowing and following our core values in all aspects of the job
• Overseeing company initiatives and projects
• Measure and report on operational performance and develop plans to improve relevant
key performance indicators
• Drive the company’s operating capabilities to surpass customer satisfaction and retention,
and company goals
• Working together with key participants to compile the budget
• Controlling company costs
• Monitoring invoices, money handling procedures, accounting and bank process
• Preparing timely and accurate financial performance reports
• Delegating responsibilities to ensure staff members grow as capable participants
• Manage direct reports including but not limited to Manager of Finance & Accounting,
Director of Business Intelligence, Video Department, Vice Presidents, Directors
• Coaching / Mentorship of key talent to grow and develop middle and upper management
• Complete performance and wage reviews in a prudent manner
• Business Process Architecture: Assessing and implementing improved processes, new
technologies, and collaborating with others regarding the implementation of these
• Staffing decision model (knowing when to hire and how many, balancing load demand
and tied back to financials)
• Adjudicate operational issues including but not limited to employee issues, process
issues, commissions, budgets, etc.
• Review contracts and other legal, including lease negotiations
• Continue to maintain and advance our company culture
• Assist with large sales presentations as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, MBA preferred but not required.
• Five year’s experience managing a complex enterprises’ human resources, finances,
operations and strategies
• Proven track record of performance in a previous position
• Demonstrated experience of ethical leadership
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience working with staff on
all levels
• Outstanding work ethic, organizational and time management skills
• A strong financial background
• Digital Marketing experience is preferred
