LINQM is adding multiple people to the front end of our Billing/Collections Team (Insurance Verifiers). The Insurance Verification Specialist is responsible for gathering and accurately reporting patients health insurance eligibility and benefits.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
• Insurance verification.
• Data entry.
• Speak on the phone in a professional and courteous manner.
• Complete 20-50 verifications per day.
• Coordinate workload with members of other departments.
• Serve as point of contact for insurance related questions within and between departments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education And Experience
• Insurance experience required (preferably in verification of benefits).
• Behavioral health experience preferred
