About The Position
The ideal candidate must have a strong bias towards Human Resources but must eagerly immerse themselves within our company and executive team. This is a large manufacturing facility, you need to walk the floor and be comfortable on your feet (walking a mile to two miles a day)
The person:
- 2+ years of HR/Employee Experience
- MS Office Suite Experience
- Experience solving employee issues
- Able to wear multiple hats
- Wanting to learn applicable laws and regulations at the local, state and federal levels.
- Interest in expanding on programs (Engagement, Performance, Development, Employee Relations, etc.)
The role:
- Oversee the new hire experience, including new hire paperwork, systems data entry, and orientation
- Make sure all employees feel recognized and appreciated
- Maintain and organize all employee documents and information, ensuring all private data is treated with a high level of confidentiality.
- Stay up to date and actively address all new regulations regarding any governmental and regulatory updates, as well as Workers Compensation programs
