The main function of this position is buying/planning role within Supply Chain.
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparing PO’s per supply plan (weekly/monthly buckets), get approval, submitting to the supplier(-s). Getting confirmation and confirming promised delivery date
• PO maintenance in the ERP system: OTD metrics, PDD maintenance, PO reconciliation with the supplier(-s)
• Collaborate with departments (such as, receiving / Procurement / AP / etc.) in order to proactively resolve receiving issues
• Overseeing shipping / transfer activity (outside of fulfillment)
• Ad-hoc requests to support planning / buying role
Skills:
• Good computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Global Supply Chain, and Quality systems (e.g., JDE) preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills
• Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to work in a team environment, including immediate supervisor, other team members in the section or group, and vendors/suppliers
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in similar role required
