Title: C-Store  National Sales Manager — Snacks 

Remote - Anywhere in the US 

Veteran-owned snack brand that gives back to the veteran community. We’re an emerging CPG brand — profitable, scaling, and ready to accelerate distribution in convenience retail (7‑Eleven, Circle K, regional chains, chains’ franchise network).

We’re hiring a high-energy, hands‑on C‑Store Sales Manager to drive national convenience channel growth. This is a doer role for a proven seller who lives in the grind: building relationships with chain buyers, regional distributors, and brokers, driving listings, promotional execution, and revenue growth across the convenience channel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own C‑Store channel sales strategy and execution: prioritize accounts, routes-to-market, and growth plans for national chains and regional c‑store groups.
  • Call on chain buyers, category managers, and regional/independent operators to secure new listings, resets, and promotional placements.
  • Manage broker relationships: recruit, activate, and hold brokers accountable — provide sell sheets, sell-ins, planograms, and weekly cadence. (Candidates must specify which brokers/third‑party reps they currently or previously work with.)
  • Work with distributers/wholesalers and route distributors to secure distribution, manage pricing, and ensure on‑shelf execution.
  • Drive promotional programs, introductory promos, in‑store demos, and planogram opportunities that move velocity and margin.
  • Negotiate terms, chargebacks, co‑op/promotional funding, and merchandising/point‑of‑sale support.
  • Track and report sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline; maintain CRM and account plans.
  • Coordinate closely with VP Sales (grocery/specialty) to align cross‑channel strategies and avoid overlap.
  • Provide market feedback to Brand, Marketing, Supply Chain on assortment, pricing, and regional trends.
  • Travel regularly for buyer meetings, broker visits, and in‑market support.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–10 years B2B sales experience selling snacks/CPG into convenience stores (national chains and regional c‑store groups).
  • Proven track record of securing C‑Store listings and driving measurable POS velocity. Provide concrete examples of wins and metrics.
  • Deep relationships/experience with C‑Store brokers, wholesalers, and chain buyers (must list brokers and buyers worked with in application).
  • Strong negotiation skills and comfort managing commercial terms, co‑op, and promotional mechanics.
  • Self‑starter mentality — ‘doer’ who can execute tactically and think strategically.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel and on‑the‑ground selling.
  • CRM proficiency and strong analytical skills to track performance and ROI.
  • Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Preferred

  • Prior success with 7‑Eleven, Circle K, Casey’s, EG America, or regional banners.
  • Experience working with route distributors and wholesale partners.
  • Previous role selling within snacks or adjacent grocery/impulse categories.
  • Familiarity with merchandising, facings, and planogram negotiation.
